Joe first began his journey in Manchester studying English Language at the University of Manchester where he first discovered the process of analysing voice and the production of sound. Having completed that, he moved to London to pursue a career in Film and Television. He began producing his own short film work where he developed his passion behind the camera, and more specifically within the Sound Department. Joe then took up the post of 'In House Sound Recordist' at S+O Media, a facilities house for the rental of television crew and equipment, working here for two years before turning freelance in 2019. Since then he has formed his own company 'JWorthySound Ltd', recording sound on multiple films, broadcast television, corporates, commercials and much more for well know channels such as ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC, and large steaming services such as Netflix and Apple TV
